The CIAO Socks provoke attacks and town-sign sprints resulting in increased power-output (watt) over a short period of time. The higher heart-rate (bpm) and speed (km/h) lead to higher strain on the body. Those little intervals still don’t take up too much energy (kcal) most probably due to the fact that in our test environment the athletes always regrouped. Still you have to keep in mind that this will take a toll on your recovery.
